Making the Final Leap To Travel State by State
Reading articles, watching videos, and having hours of discussions helped us when we were making the change from a stationary life to a nomadic life. So we know it takes time and planning, and we want to help other who might have questions about transitioning from a brick and mortar house to a mobile one with wheels. Parts of the process can be difficult. Getting rid of stuff is not as easy as it sounds. We all have things we love and want to hang on to. The main thing is to focus on why you’re going full-time. For us, it was family and freedom. Giving our children an education by traveling state by state has been the right choice. All of the things we had to give up to have this opportunity has been worth it. Honestly, we never even think about those things because we are having such a great time!
Helping Others Who Want To Travel State by State
There are many families living the full-time RV life or that are interested in doing so. We want to help other families that want to travel. It can be very expensive for a family to find fun, educational things to do at a low cost. In our state by state travels we try to find free or inexpensive things for families to do and then share them, making it easy to get out in the community without having to break the bank.
We love checking out a free small town museum, a local library or just going hiking in a beautiful place. All these things are usually free or inexpensive, and we have a great time because we’re sharing experiences together. By joining our state by state adventure, you can learn more about the places we find all over the country. None of which will break the bank.
Parking the RV
Over the years, we’ve been to some of the most amazing campgrounds and RV parks, and we love to share our favorite low-cost spots that can accommodate our 29-foot travel trailer. Only if we really enjoy our stay are you going to find information about it here because, believe me, not all camps are created equally. Most of the time, with a campground you’ve never been to, you just don’t know until you get there. We prefer low-cost campgrounds. So finding something that is safe, affordable, and in nature can be tricky and isn’t always possible.
We stay in a variety of campgrounds, and we move frequently. So we want to share with you the places we find that have a great price but are also good for families. State by state we are finding amazing places and we just have to tell others about them. Freedom was something we loved about the idea of traveling full time. So making reservations is just not for us. We have found many hidden gems because of this that are first-come, first-served. These have been some of our favorite places to stay, but they can be hard to find.
